FAAN recognizes Tactical Controls

OCEANSIDE – The Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network (FAAN) acknowledged Tactical Controls for their system application. Bruce Gibbens, on behalf of Tactical Controls, as well as the Campbell’s Soup Company were recently acknowledged again for their collaboration on the Barcode, Printer, & Vision system application.

Tactical Controls received the Mariel C. Furlong Award in the category of Food Industry, for its quality control application.

“With the prevalence of food allergy on the rise, promoting public awareness and education is more important than ever. Your hard work and diligence have truly made a difference to all those managing food allergies. The Mariel C. Furlong Award reflects our recognition and appreciation of your work,” said Beverly Ryan with FAAN to those receiving the award.

Bruce Gibbens was honored to accept his award on April 24 in Las Vegas. This is the second award that Tactical Controls has garnered for the innovation of designing the Barcode, Printer, & Vision system application. The company is based in Oceanside and the Gibbens reside in Fallbrook.
