Granite Construction appoints Chalfa to new position

MURRIETA - Pat Kelly, Southern California regional manager and Dave Donnelly, San Diego/Western Riverside County area manager of Granite Construction have announced that Mark Chalfa will assume the position of San Diego/Western Riverside County Area Construction Manager reporting to Dave Donnelly effective May 1.

In his new role, Chalfa will be responsible for the vertically integrated construction operations (estimating and field project management) in San Diego and western Riverside County. Chalfa will build the construction operations team to build work for pubic agencies and private sector clients.

Chalfa has been employed by Granite for 13 years and has served in several roles. He graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in civil engineering in 1997. He, his wife, Kylie, and their children will be relocating to the area this summer.
