Pelzer, Hartman to compete in pageants

FALLBROOK – Alexes Pelzer and Jessica Hartman of Fallbrook have been selected to participate in the Nationals’ 2010 Miss Teen and Jr. Teen San Diego pageants May 23.

Alexes will be competing in the Miss Teen division for young ladies ages 16 to 19 and Jessica in the Miss Jr. Teen division for ages 13 to 15. Both pageants include modeling casual and formal wear and being interviewed by the judges. Personality is the number one aspect that each contestant is judged on during all phases of competition.

There is no cost to Alexes or Jessica for participating in the pageant. Through sponsorship, each contestant receives all the necessary training, rehearsals, and financial support.
