VFW to hold Memorial Day ceremony

FALLBROOK – Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 1924 invites members of the community to attend a Memorial Day ceremony on Monday, May 31 at 11 a.m. at the Masonic Cemetery, 1177 Santa Margarita Drive.

Guest speaker will be Lt Col Maurice F. Bernier, USMC (Ret) and youth speaker will be Wade Colburn, first place winner of the VFW’s Voice of Democracy award.

The Fallbrook Chorale will perform patriotic songs and the Fallbrook Garden Club will provide flowers to place on graves. Residents are encouraged to join the VFW in this celebration of service.
