What a great prayer for us to pray in our quiet times alone with God. So often we live lives more like a pinball in a machine, than an arrow in flight. We bounce off the challenges of life and get re-launched by a flipper… taking brief advantage of the opportunities that happen our way, only to roll progressively down the board to end up falling into the inevitable ball shooter rail, waiting to be shot upwards once again.

What if we ask God for the target and allow Him to send us into flight… like an arrow flying straight and true to what His destiny is for us? What if...?

God will right our minds and our hearts if we let Him. He will show us the way, if we have eyes to see. He will tell us what to do, if we have ears to hear. We need clear vision from the view of the Almighty. We need to take a stand for something in life.

For Me? I’ll stand with and for Jesus, how He would have me be… what He would have me do… armed with the why I should do it, so as to avoid confusion or defeat… that is enough, don’t you think?
