Car Club members support Pop Warner Little Scholars

FALLBROOK – The Fallbrook Vintage Car Club recently made a donation to the Fallbrook Pop Warner Little Scholars to support their work in furthering their character development, teamwork, sportsmanship, academic growth, confidence-building and pride.

The money will be used for scholarships, equipment and fees. The league’s favorite acronym is IAATK: It’s all about the kids.

The Fallbrook Vintage Car Club is an organization of vintage car enthusiasts who meet monthly to discuss their favorite hobby. There’s no requirement to own a vintage car to be a member of the club - just an appreciation of the culture. The club’s general meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of the month at the Fallbrook Women’s Club at 238 W. Mission at 7 p.m. There is no admission charge and visitors are always welcome.

A short business meeting is generally followed by a presentation by a local member on some subject of interest to the membership. Their annual car show is held on Memorial Day weekend and proceeds from that event make it possible for the club to support local charities throughout the year.
