Where was Obama on Memorial Day?

I read in disbelief that President Obama would not attend the wreath laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery on Memorial Day; instead he abdicated his duties to Vice President Biden.

Obama’s absence sets a very disgraceful precedence; instead Obama chose to speak at a function in Chicago. Should we be surprised? This is typical of Obama. His actions are divisive to the country. My uncles served in World War II, one in the U.S. Air Force and the other in the U.S. Marine Corps. I wonder what their thoughts would be on the President not attending the Arlington ceremony.
