Retired teachers honored for service

Laura Choate, left, and Patricia Barnes hold the flowers they received on June 9 at the Fallbrook Golf Club when California Retired Teachers, Fallbrook Division 81, recognized them for their services to the community. Choate was honored with an Award of Merit for her 1021 volunteered hours and Patricia Barnes was named Volunteer of the Year for devoting 1300 hours to her community projects.
