FALLBROOK – St. John’s Thrift Shop has started a scholarship program with CAST at Mission Theatre, Fallbrook’s own community theater, owned by Patty Hornsveld and operated by herself and her talented staff.
A great venue for local youth, CAST plays a major role in the arts and culture of Fallbrook. St. Johns Thrift Shop board of directors is thrilled and blessed to be able to offer this scholarship as they believe it is wise to invest in children.
If anyone has a child that needs the right outlet, they can give acting a try by calling CAST at (760)731-CAST.
Patty Hornsveld, organizer of the Miss Fallbrook pageant, has been kind enough to arrange for Miss Fallbrook and her court to help out the thrift shop on Saturdays beginning July10. This gives the girls a chance to do some community service, and is a big help for the shop. This is a great opportunity for the public to come in and meet them in person and to also volunteer their time as more help is always welcomed.
