Writers Read scheduled for July 8

FALLBROOK – Fallbrook’s Writers Read, a free monthly gathering of writers and readers, will feature poet Mai Lon Gittelsohn on Thursday, July 8 at 6 p.m., at the Café des Artistes. Gittelsohn’s reading will be followed by open mic for members of the public to share their original poetry and prose.

A fifth Chinese daughter, Gittelsohn’s poems have appeared in the Paterson Literary Review and in the San Diego Poetry Annual. A retired schoolteacher, Gittelsohn resides in Del Mar where she now leads classes in memoir writing.
