Re: 'Meals on Wheels to the rescue' [Letter, Village News, 7/8/10]

I am very happy <Ayn Bryant> was pleased with the service of Fallbrook Senior Center and its meal delivery. I wish to make one, not so small, correction.

‘Meals on Wheels’ is a registered logo of a service that does not serve Fallbrook. The Senior Center meal service is ‘Meals on the Move’ (call MOM). I stress this as this is a San Diego County-supported service. I stress this as a volunteer at the senior center, and I bridle when M-O-W annually canvasses this area by phone for contributions when they do not service the area.

Our center could use any and all help available, not someone not providing any help for the area.
