FALLBROOK – “Dog Days of Summer,” a special exhibition featuring art about home and farm/ranch animals, highlights artistic work on display in Fallbrook’s Brandon Gallery during August.
Pieces scheduled for display include oil and acrylic paintings, watercolor, digital media, photographs and fabric art. The exhibition, limited to the 27 artists from San Diego and Riverside counties comprising Brandon’s membership, consists of fanciful as well as serious interpretative art about dogs, cats, horses and other domesticated animals.
“Dog Days of Summer” opens Sunday, Aug. 1, and closes Tuesday, Aug. 31. In addition to normal gallery hours, Brandon Gallery also stays open until 7:30 p.m. during the Hot Summer Nites, Aug. 13 and 27.
