Rawanda A. Taylor passed away July 15, 2010 at Scripps Memorial Hospital after suffering an aneurysm.
Born October 2, 1929, she was the much loved and admired wife of Donald, mother of Carey Whiting, Robin McCormick and Lynne Taylor, and grandmother of Paul Whiting, Kyle McCormick and Trisha McCormick and numerous nieces and nephews.
Rawanda was an extremely compassionate person who contributed to many local community causes.
She was a truly dedicated animal lover. She participated in the fundraising activities of the Fallbrook Animal Sanctuary and adopted her dog, Snowie, from there.
The overall focus of her life was on the well being of her children and grandchildren. She constantly encouraged and supported them in their life activities. Her thoughtful gifts, notes of encouragement and phone calls are examples of her devotion.
She was the strength of the entire family. Her support and love will be missed by all. She will live in our memory forever.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Fallbrook Animal Sanctuary, in her memory, would be greatly appreciated by her family.
