Volunteers needed at the Little Bonsall Schoolhouse

BONSALL – On Saturday, Aug. 21, a group of volunteers will be doing some gentle demolition at the Little Bonsall Schoolhouse, starting at 8 a.m. They will be removing items that don’t contribute to the school’s historic value such as appliances, sinks, toilets and cabinetry. Anyone who would like to help is welcome to come and join in the effort.

Crowbars, hammers, flatbars, cordless drills, gloves, masks, brooms, and a few ladders are needed. This first step begins the long-awaited restoration process. Next steps are termite eradication and a new roof.
