Only a dope goes on dope

A few years ago, I needed a job. I went down to San Diego to that government building where they had jobs on the wall. They had a job in Santee as a maintenance person. I went to Santee. It was a house for the mentally ill. I saw this caretaker person who talked to me and invited me for a walk through. The residents were all young males under 25 years old, all mental cases from some form of dope the caretaker said. I could not believe it.
