43 million reasons to sign up for a San Diego County library card

SAN DIEGO – September is Library Card Sign Up Month and San Diego County Library is celebrating at all 33 of their branch libraries. Customers can sign up for free and gain the perks of membership, and are encouraged to send pictures taken of themselves with their library cards to [email protected] that will be featured on the Virtual Branch at www.sdcl.org.

The 640,000 current library cardholders not only have free access to 43.7 million books, movies, and music, but to free internet and computer time, money saving tools such as Consumer Reports, and homework and job services...
