TEMECULA – The Swing Dolls, a dynamic female vocal trio, who captivate and entertain with stunning close harmonies, show-stopping costumes and stylish choreography, will appear at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 2 at the Old Town Temecula Community Theater.
The variety show, presented by West Coast Performing Arts Presenters, will feature The Swing Dolls performing songs from girl groups spanning pop music history, with a focus on the hits of the forties, fifties, sixties and seventies, made famous by such greats as The Andrews Sisters, The McGuire Sisters, Chiffons, and Lesley Gore, with a nod to the music of ABBA a la Mamma Mia! The trio’s authentic renditions of classic hits like “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy,” “Sincerely,” “It’s My Party,” and “Dancing Queen” are adored by audiences of all ages.
The performance will take the audience down memory lane, reminiscing and enjoying music from the 1940’s through the 1970’s, as The Swing Dolls pay tribute to the history of the USO and, most importantly, the U.S. armed forces personnel and veterans.
