Chinese students visit Fallbrook, stay with 20 area families

FALLBROOK – This summer, 20 Fallbrook area families opened their homes to 30 foreign exchange students from China. The students, ranging from ages 14 to 18, came from the large city of Chongqing, a city of 32 million people, located in south central China.

Chongqing is land locked and as with any heavy populated city, pollution is always an issue. Thus, the students were struck by the clear starry nights of Fallbrook. They were also struck by the large sizes of area homes and neighborhood living; most of the students have lived in apartments their entire lives.
