FALLBROOK – Supervisor Bill Horn was the guest speaker at the September meeting of the Fallbrook Woman’s Club in keeping with California Federation of Women’s Club (CFWC) and General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC) policies of bringing public affairs and public issues to the attention of the membership.
Supervisor Horn addressed his responsibilities as county representative to Fallbrook and other unincorporated areas of the county; spoke of budget battles with the State to squelch the raiding of county funds; and discussed his participation in several local programs including the funding of the new Fallbrook library, the new signing program directing visitors to historical downtown Fallbrook, the use of funding for foster children, and the proposed equestrian park along the San Louis Rey River. His presentation ended with a question and answer period.
