New AAUW members welcomed at champagne brunch

FALLBROOK – Forty current, new and prospective American Association of University Women (AAUW) members enjoyed champagne, salads and sweets at the home of membership Chair, Diane Gill. A fashion show featuring apparel from Lemonchello Boutique was conducted by the owner, Kristin Barbato.

Several members spoke about the many facets of AAUW, the Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) mentoring program for tenth, eleventh, and twelfth grade girls, the Tech Trek Science camp for eighth grade girls, and scholarships for undergraduates and graduates.
