Noise advisory issued by Camp Pendleton for weekend

CAMP PENDLETON - Camp Pendleton units will be firing high-explosive munitions into the Whiskey and Zulu impact areas from midnight to 2 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 16 and Sunday, Oct. 17.

Depending on atmospheric conditions, the sound of the explosions may be amplified and heard up to 50 miles away.
