Out with the old... in with the new

Col. Nicholas F. Marano, commanding officer, Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, mans a bulldozer and demolishes one of the remaining 62 Area flattop buildings. The buildings are being demolished to make room for new state-of-the-art bachelor enlisted quarters for service members from the 5th Marine Regiment.
