Zoning Administrator approves new antennas on NCFPD site

The county’s Zoning Administrator approved a Minor Use Permit modification which will allow additional wireless telecommunication facility equipment on an existing North County Fire Protection District lattice tower.

The July 20 decision of Zoning Administrator Joe Farace allows for twelve additional antennas to complement twelve existing antennas at the site in the 500 block of East Ivy Street. The permit modification also allows for a new equipment enclosure which would be surrounded by an eight foot tall concrete masonry unit wall.
