21-year-old man arrested for firing gun at County road crew workers in De Luz

Sheriff's deputies have made an arrest in the Oct. 21 incident in De Luz in which a driver fired a gun at men doing work on a county roadway shortly after noon. The man was driving a red Nissan Frontier when he fired a round from a handgun at the workers. No one was injured in the incident and although deputies searched the area immediately after the shooting, the suspect was not located

Fallbrook substation commander Lt. Mike Barnett said 21-year-old David Garcia of De Luz was arrested yesterday (Oct. 27) in connection with the incident.
