Rally for Children holds lively, charitable event

FALLBROOK – Members of the Fallbrook non-profit organization Rally for Children enjoyed a lively event Sept. 30 at Golf Club of California entitled ‘Table Talk.’ Guest speaker Lynn Chichi had the 126 attendees laughing as she made exploring ideas for holiday table decorating entertaining and fun.

“If you wear glasses, take them off when decorating; if you can’t see it, it’s too small to matter – and your husband looks better,” advised Chichi, with a laugh.

The event, which raised money for Rally’s mission – to support children’s needs in the Fallbrook/Bonsall area, including the free annual Arts in the Park event each spring, was orchestrated by Susan Murphy and Deb Bertuzzi with the assistance of Jackie Edgerton, Judy Sanacore, Jane Bongiovanni, Madeline Williamson, Pat Dales, Marcy Pesceone, and Louise Small. Live Oak Greenhouses assisted with decorations and Ace Party Rentals helped with the sound system.

Rally for Children announces that it is now accepting requests for funding from local organizations supporting children.

Deadline for requests for this funding is Oct. 31 with funding prior to the year’s end. Only 501(c) 3 organizations will be considered. All requests must be in writing and include specifics of how the funds will be used to benefit children in the Fallbrook/Bonsall communities.
