Fallbrook High School’s girls volleyball team split its first four Avocado East League matches.
The Warriors lost in five games October 6 at San Pasqual, defeated Escondido on the road October 11 in four games, lost a four-game match October 13 at home against Mission Hills, and triumphed over Vista in a four-game road match October 14.
“It’s important that we’re bouncing back after these heartbreaker losses,” said Fallbrook coach Peter Peng.
The match at San Pasqual saw the Golden Eagles overcome the Warriors’ lead of two games to one and stave off match point in the fifth game.
