Cold front with light to moderate showers reaches Fallbrook/Bonsall area

SAN DIEGO - A cold front with light to moderate rain showers spread across San Diego County this morning, including the Fallbrook and Bonsall area.

Showery rain and moderate winds are expected to last until around noon, according to the National Weather Service.

As of 4:30 a.m. the front of the fast-moving system was heading east into Orange County and the Inland Empire, and another edge of the front was expected to reach southern San Diego County by 6 a.m., according to a Weather Service short-term forecast.
