Buffalo Alley Run honors fallen and wounded

In honor of the fallen and wounded heroes who serve our country, more than 800 runners competed in the annual Buffalo Alley 10k, 5k and 1k Race at Camp Pendleton’s 52 Area, Oct. 16.

The race occurs annually in accordance with the Marine Special Operations Command Hard Corps Race Series (MARSOC), and is the final of six yearly events offered for participants.

Buffalo Alley is designed to meet the wide range of participants needs by offering three different categories. The 10 and five kilometer races are designated for participants ages 15 and up, while the 1k is for children 14 and below.
