Victim of fatal crash at I-15 and SR76 identified as Murrieta woman

The victim of a fatal vehicle accident that occured yesterday morning (Sat. Nov. 20) at approximately 4:45 a.m. on northbound Interstate 15 just south of State Route 76 in Fallbrook has been identified as 33-year-old Murrieta resident Angela Dawn Mendez.

Authorities said Mendez, a married Caucasian female who resided with her husband in Murrieta, was wearing a seatbelt while driving a 2004 Range Rover Discovery when for some unknown reason, the vehicle veered off the highway and rolled down an embankment.
