Free 2011 water calendars depict pupils' artwork

FALLBROOK – Customers of the Fallbrook Public Utility District (FPUD) can come in to the district office to pick up one free copy of the 2011 “Water Is Life” calendar, which includes artwork done by Fallbrook fourth-graders.

Fourth-graders from schools all over North County competed with the best and brightest water-conservation posters in the annual contest run by the Fallbrook Public Utility District and 12 other North County water agencies. FPUD and the other agencies collaborate to find the most eye-catching images illustrating the need for saving water.
