Fallbrook substation starts holiday awareness/safety detail

SAN DIEGO – The San Diego Sheriff’s Department is committed to making sure the citizen’s of San Diego County can enjoy the holiday season in peace and security. Every Sheriff’s station in the county is implementing strategies and tactics to control crime and make San Diego the safest urban county in the nation.

The Fallbrook Substation has identified a modest historic increase in thefts during the Thanksgiving to New Year’s Day time period over the past three years in the Fallbrook area. In addition, mental health related calls for service increase during the holiday season.
