In recognition of the Corps’ 235th birthday, Marines and sailors from across Camp Pendleton gathered at base’s 11 Area football field to watch and participate in base’s annual Marine Corps Birthday Pageant, Nov. 5.
Eager spectators filled the bleachers to watch the pageant that included Marines from every command across the base. Some carried their unit’s colors, while other partakers were dressed in the past uniforms of the most significant eras in Marine Corps history.
