PALA – The 2,000 team members of Pala Casino Spa & Resort donated over three tons of food on Nov. 16 to the San Diego Food Pantry for distribution to those in need during the holiday season.
Pala conducted a food drive that concluded Nov. 15 and representatives from the San Diego Food Pantry received 6,292 pounds of food from the casino.
“As our team members have done for so many community projects, they really came through again to help those in need this holiday season,” said Pala chief executive Bill Bembenek.
