Marine Corps leaders recently unveiled the second phase to the unique Infantry Immersion Trainer (IIT) at Camp Pendleton, Nov. 16.
The $28.59 million IIT is designed to prepare squads of Marines for battle by immersing them into scenarios they may encounter during combat operations in Afghanistan.
The Infantry Immersion Trainer is in direct accordance with the recently published guidance from the new commandant, Gen. James F. Amos.
