Did you see the dramatic flash of blue?

My wife and I were sitting outside at about 9:15 pm on December 4 when we saw a huge flash of blue over the western skies. This flash was so massive, bright, and intense, that it filled the entire sky and I thought we were about to be vaporized or something. I know this sounds dramatic but it was truly that intense.

I don’t know where it originated, but it was either in Fallbrook, Camp Pendleton or maybe over the ocean. I am really not a crazy person, but I am starting to feel this way about it.
