The Fallbrook Skate Park opened last month. Now, there’s a safe place for kids to practice this popular sport – not in a parking lot, not on our narrow, twisting streets. Fallbrook has grown, and the needs of Fallbrook families have grown with it.
I’ve heard many comments over the years about giving our children, especially our adolescents, something to do. We don’t want kids hanging out on street corners, or glued to TVs or computers. We don’t want to have to drive out of town.
As a community, we need to reach out to children who have limited resources – the ones with no transport...
