SAN DIEGO - A magnitude 4.9 earthquake that stuck near Guadalupe Victoria, Mexico, this morning was felt in El Centro but apparently caused no damage north of the border.
The earthquake struck at 4:52 a.m., about 20 miles south southwest of Guadalupe Victoria, Mexico, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
It was apparently another aftershock from the magnitude 7.2 quake on Easter.
''It felt like it was rolling the building for a few seconds,'' El Centro Police Department dispatcher Kristi Davis told City News Service. ''It was roller, not a shaker. Just a couple seconds.
