FALLBROOK – On December 1, Iowa Street School students and staff welcomed four Pearl Harbor survivors and a World War II veteran to their monthly flag ceremony.
The event was held to honor those who defended the United States during the Pearl Harbor attack and served during the war.
During the ceremony, students delivered speeches about Pearl Harbor and the significant role the guests played. Students were permitted to ask the guests questions about their experiences.
Administrators at the school said parent Michelle Leslie was instrumental in making the arrangements for the honored gues...
