Why religion is reasonable

Some atheists are using the Christmas season to promote their worldview with the slogan, “Reason vs. Religion.” But is it reasonable to try to convince people that belief in an all-powerful, righteous and loving God is bad or stupid?

Atheists would argue that religion has resulted in bad behavior throughout history. This is unreasonable when you consider that not all people who claim to follow a particular belief system are perfect in their adherence to the fundamentals of that system.
