Camp Pendleton requires only "critical personnel" to report to base today; those traveling to Naval Hospital cautioned

CAMP PENDLETON - Due to inclement weather, Camp Pendleton officials require only critical personnel to report to the base today, Wed. Dec. 22.

Camp Pendleton is experiencing the following road closures as a result of flooding and other weather-related conditions on roadways:

*Stuart Mesa Road is closed at the intersection of Vandegrift Blvd, north of Stuart Mesa Bridge.

*Stuart Mesa Road is closed between Las Flores and Las Pulgas Road. Due to flooding in the 41 area, Camp Pendleton Police have shut down a portion of Stuart Mesa Road. Personnel requiring access to the 43 Area should use the La...
