Joseph P. Cacopardo

Joseph P. Cacopardo, of Fallbrook died Thursday, Dec. 9, 2010 at Palomar Hospital after battling a recurrence of cancer.

Born in Brooklyn, N.Y.,

June 4, 1939, to Peter and Maria Cacopardo, Joe was an intelligent, humble, good man who loved learning; he earned seven advanced college degrees.

He had over 40 years of board certification as a clinical pathologist, medical technologist, specialist in blood banking and technologist in hematology. He was sought out for his expertise. Employers included the American Red Cross, Stanford University, and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
