Shopping locally in Fallbrook

My wife found a ring guard online she wanted for our anniversary. I took the picture to the Jewelry Connection and spoke with the owner, Jamie; showed him the picture and asked what he could do for me. Thinking he was going to show me something out of the display case, he suggested his jeweler (Rocky) cast the ring guard.

To my surprise, Jamie quoted me the same price as the Internet ring guard despite Rocky having to ensure the engagement ring fit perfectly into it, and the diamonds being set in it were of much higher clarity and color than the Internet ring. I was so happy with it that I couldn’t wait until our anniversary to give it to Susan who loved it!

Next, I called Barbie from Village Vacuum & Sewing to purchase a new vacuum. After obtaining Barbie’s recommendation and price, we did some comparison shopping over the Internet and found it for less. Barbie agreed to price match. She took the vacuum out of the box and assembled it, showed me the features, and provided a demonstration on how to properly operate it. She included a free cleaning and inspection (a $50 value), free bags, and a free use of her carpet cleaning machine.

I encourage other shoppers to communicate with our local vendors before purchasing products and services elsewhere, because they will definitely support you.
