Warriors reach CIF tennis quarterfinals

Fallbrook High School’s girls tennis team reached the CIF Division I team quarterfinals.

Both of Fallbrook’s playoff matches were tied at nine sets apiece and decided on the tiebreaking criteria of games won. Fallbrook’s first-round home win November 2 over Scripps Ranch was by a 75-57 games margin. The Warriors’ November 3 loss at Poway saw the Titans win 71 games while Fallbrook captured 69

“It came down to the last set, basically,” said Fallbrook coach Dave Ramirez.
