Boys & Girls Club of North County member Evelyn Medina enjoys a visit with Luis Castillo of the San Diego Chargers at a recent event sponsored by the Junior Seau Foundation.
FALLBROOK – Ten members from the Boys and Girls Clubs of North County were treated to a $100 shopping spree recently courtesy of the Junior Seau Foundation.
“This is one of the coolest perks of being a Boys and Girls Club member,” said Lisa Ware, club director. “Every year we have an essay contest and pick 10 winners to go to San Diego to shop and celebrate with some professional athletes. This is all due to the generosity of the Junior Seau Foundation and Shop with a Jock program.”
