Ring in the New Year with blues rocker Dennis Jones

Old Town Temecula’s best venue host and party planner, Bruce Beers, is bringing the Dennis Jones Band back to the Old Town Temecula Community Theater on Dec. 31 to torch the final hours of 2010.

Growing up in Baltimore, Jones readily admitted, “I was a rock and roller as a kid” but then discovered “…where these rock and roll licks were coming from. As you dig deeper, you go back to Son House and Robert Johnson and people like that.” But his most revered influence has always been a guitarist that Jones himself is often compared to, Jimi Hendrix.
