CWA vote entitlement percentage drops slightly for area agencies

When the San Diego County Water Authority (CWA) board approved the 2011 vote entitlement for CWA member agencies Dec. 9, the Rainbow Municipal Water District, the Fallbrook Public Utility District, and Camp Pendleton were all given a slight decrease in their weighted vote compared to the agencies’ 2010 vote entitlements.

During the CWA’s calendar year 2011 board meetings, Rainbow will have a 4.14 percent share of the weighted vote; FPUD’s weighted vote will be 2.46 percent, and Camp Pendleton will have 0.13 percent of the weighted vote. In 2010, Rainbow had a 4.16 percent share; FPUD had 2.48...
