SANDAG board prefers hybrid RTP scenario76 widening to be to four lanes

The San Diego Association of Governments board accepted a hybrid Regional Transportation Plan scenario as the preferred revenue-constrained transportation network for the 2050 Regional Transportation Plan scheduled to be adopted in 2011.

The SANDAG board voted 16-3 in favor of the hybrid scenario Dec. 17 with La Mesa mayor Art Madrid, Solana Beach deputy mayor Lesa Heebner, and Del Mar City Council member Carl Hilliard casting the votes in opposition.
