Warrior spikers fourth in league

Fallbrook High School’s girls volleyball team finished the 2010 season fourth in the six-team Avocado East League standings.

A Nov. 3 loss to Vista was followed by a Nov. 5 victory over San Marcos to close out the regular season with a 10-21 overall record and a 4-6 Avocado East League mark.

“I’m not disappointed in my team. I’m disappointed that we were unable to capitalize on La Costa and Torrey Pines vacating the league, but I’m not disappointed in the effort that we gave,” said Fallbrook coach Peter Peng.
