Lemke earns Eagle Scout rank

FALLBROOK – Travis Lemke, 15, a sophomore at River Springs Charter School in Temecula, recently earned his Boy Scout Eagle Award. Lemke is a member of Fallbrook Troop 739.

Lemke has earned 32 merit badges with the Whitewater badge as his favorite because he got to learn how to go down rivers on a kayak.

“The best part of scouting has been all of the awesome campouts I have been on. I have had many great experiences from hiking the tallest peak in North America to snorkeling in Catalina,” said Lemke.
