Drought tolerant plants topic of Garden Club talk

FALLBROOK – The Fallbrook Garden Club’s guest speaker for its 1 p.m. meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 22 will be Doug Kalal. A graduate of the renowned horticultural program at Cuyamaca College, Kalal has been designing gardens and giving lectures for five years.

Kalal’s program, titled “30 Great Drought Tolerant Plants for Your Garden,” will feature the sight, touch and smell of such plants as salvias and California natives.
